A modern corset wedding gown with touches of victorian whimsy

completed in June 2004

This gown was a custom order and has been sold

This gown consists of a Victorian style corset-bodice in a winter white silk duchesse. The corset is asymmetrically trimmed with a whimsical collection of ribbons, ruffles, braids, feathers and pearls.

    

The Skirt is made of the same silk duchesse in a simple late victorian style with the fullness at the back. A 10" deep pleated ruffle finishes the hem.

A 1" neckband of the same silk duchesse and an elaborately trimmed hair comb complete the look.
